• Enforcement Officer (EO) / Accounts Officer (AO): Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute.
• Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 Salary Details:

The salary for EPFO officers is as per Level 8 in the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix (₹43,600 to ₹55,200/-), equivalent to a pay band of ₹9,300 – 34,800/- (previous structure). In addition, selected candidates will receive various allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and other government benefits.

The selection process for UPSC EPFO EO/AO and APFC posts consists of two rigorous stages:

1. Recruitment Test (Stage 1): Computer-based objective exam testing General Awareness, Indian Polity, Economy, Labour Laws, English, etc.
2. Interview/Personality Test (Stage 2): Candidates shortlisted from the test will appear for an interview to assess aptitude, communication, and subject knowledge.
