Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university. In addition, they must be proficient in English Shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute and have a typing speed of 40 words per minute on a computer. A solid knowledge of computer operations is also essential. Furthermore, applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of regular service experience in roles such as Private Secretary, Senior Personal Assistant, or Senior Stenographer in a government organization, PSU, or statutory body.

The age of the candidates should be between 30 and 45 years as of 1st July 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwD, Ex-servicemen, and dependents of Freedom Fighters, as per the norms of the Government of India.
